Makeover before and after 30 day appearance challengeHey girlfriend, do you have early evening or late afternoon holiday parties coming up?

Lots of us find it difficult to figure out how to go from the office to on-the-town. Personal style Girlfriend Guru Donna Gamache offers fantastic tips for moving easily from professional to party.

‘Tis the season for after-work parties…so here are some suggestions to help you look fabulous during the holiday season without stressing out about it.

Since what you wear should reflect your inner personality, I am going to make suggestions based on personal style.  If you don’t know your personal style, get a free analysis at www.DonnaGamache.com.  Now, let’s talk about stress-free holiday style on the go.

For the Timeless Classic personal style, it’s important to keep a set of pearls within arm’s length.  You will most likely be dressed in a tailored suit, jacket, or sweater set for the office.  Dress it up with multiple strands of pearls and some festive earrings and you are ready for the party.

If your personal style is Endless Romantic, you will want to keep a keep a ruffled holiday sweater and an antique or filigree necklace and earrings in your car or office.  Since this style is all about whimsy, add a bowed headband and a pair of dress shoes to finish off the party look.

The Dynamic Driver personal style will want to keep a dramatic necklace on hand to wear with her office dress or suit.  And, don’t forget to keep those designer shoes (possibly red for the season) handy because for this style it is all about the shoes.

For the Spirited Sport personal style, it may be a little more challenging since they will most likely be dressed very comfortably during the day.  Have a velvet or velour type boyfriend shirt on hand to put on with your black slacks or jeans.  Complete the outfit with a simple earring and comfortable dress shoes.

The Trendy Alluring personal style is the true fashionista and will most likely already be wearing something with a little sparkle and bling.  This woman will want to have a selection of sparkly jewelry on hand to change up her look for the party.  And, don’t forget those fantastic red heels to complete the party look.

No matter what your personal style is, it’s important to look and feel your best when you go out this holiday season.  Planning ahead will help you look your best with no stress…there is enough of that with everything else we do.  Merry Christmas everyone!
